Altenew + PPP Collaboration Blog Hop (& Giveaways!)

kiwi koncepts

Welcome to the my stop in the Altenew and Pretty Pink Posh Collaboration Blog Hop! Hopefully you’ve arrived here from Yoonsun’s blog, but if you didn’t that’s alright too. You can always start at the very beginning at Altenew’s blog.

unnamed-3

Working with both Altenew and PPP was an ease! With all the amazing floral stamps that Altenew has to offer, and all the fun frame dies and sequins that PPP has, there are so many possibilities. When I first started crafting, I hated buying holiday-themed stamps. I wanted to put my money into stamps and dies that were versatile and not constrained by a certain holiday so that I can’t get the most use out of it. Today I’ll be sharing a holiday card that I made with non-holiday stamps and dies!

kiwi koncepts

I used Altenew’s Freeform Greenery to heat emboss leaves and buds all over the card. I’ve always love seeing the traditional colors of red and green paired with gold. I loosely watercolored the whole card with a strong deep red, and a mossy green.

kiwi koncepts

I also then built my own sentiment “peace & joy” using the Modern Deco alphabet stamps. I love this font! Then I framed my sentiment by using the PPP Stitched Hexagon around my sentiment.

kiwi koncepts

I wanted to add some minimal interest to this card, so I elevated the watercolor panel with red craft foam. That slim bit of red that you see from the side adds just the perfect amount of accent. Then I added a few sequins around the sentiment.

kiwi koncepts

Look at it glisten in the light! The gold embossing always adds so much glamour to the card, don’t you agree?

Thanks for hopping by this stop and be sure to check out the next talent in the lineup, Svitlana Shayevich!
