Hello! I’m so thrilled to be sharing my first PTI design team post with you. For those that may be new to my blog, welcome! I am so excited to have you here. As part of PTI’s celebration of their 10 years in business, we are revisitng the past to bring you a fresh look of the beautiful products PTI has released over the years. Today we’re celebrating 2008!
I have chosen to feature the Garden of Life Stamp set in today’s project. I was drawn by the solid and outline images for some offset stamping to create a fun, whimsical floral card.
I love using my MISTI tool when stamping solid images. It allows me to repeat stamp a couple times if my first impression is not the best. I stamped various florals from the set around the edges of my white cardstock, letting some of the flowers overlay each other and randomly alternating colors as I stamp.
For select solid images, I used the outlined and intentionally offset the lines. This adds such a fun and whimsical look! I added a touch of splatter with some watercolor and heat embossed my sentiment in white onto matching colored cardstock.
I added a thin strip of gold foil card stock to add just a touch of shiny interest. I just love adding gold!
Now that I have showcased how this product from the past has remained a classic, it’s your turn to share your ideas for the future!
