PTI Celebrating 2010: The Past, Present & Future

Welcome back to day 4 in PTI’s journal into the past for their 10 year celebration! Today we are celebrating 2010!

In 2010, PTI began a series of beautiful floral set called Year of Flowers. Each and every one of these sets are absolutely beautiful, but I especially loved the Sweet Peas stamp set, and wanted to feature them in today’s project.

The stamps in this collection are large, crisp images, and just wonderful to color. I decided to work with watercolors today to color these sweet peas. I stamped the image in hybrid ink along the left side. Once I was done, I die cut it out with a stitched frame and adhered to a light grey card stock A2 veritical fold base with some foam sandwiched in between.

I used the sentiment in the set, heat embossed in white onto purple card stock, and snipped the edge at an angle, and adhered it to the card with foam tape.

Sweetpeas will forever remain my favorite in the YOF series. You have done such a beautiful job with it that I want to get out my watercolors and start painting! Love all your extra little touches!
