Hello and welcome back! Today we are revisiting year 2014 in our 10 year celebration over at Papertrey Ink!
There were so many great products in 2014, I had a pretty difficult time narrowing down which one I wanted to work with. But one set that really stood out for me was the Embellished Elegance stamp set. I absolutely love the details in the large happy stamp and those leafy ends make it so unique!
I thought it be fun to do some multicolor stamping on the happy by using warm colors. I treated ‘happy’ as my centerpiece flower, and surrounded it with a leafy wreath. For the larger leaf pieces that created the wreath around the ‘happy, I also added a little detailed coloring with a copic marker and a white gel pen for little white dots. I wanted to little details to match the details in the happy!
To really bring out the happy, I ink blended a blue background behind the word.
A little white splatter onto the background and foam tape to adhere all the pieces together was all I needed to finish up the card.
Now that I have showcased how this product from the past has remained a classic, it’s your turn to share your ideas for the future!
