Woosh! The past 9 days of 9 years of Papertrey Ink posts sure flew by so fast. We are on our last day of the 10 year celebration…2016!

2016

Every year, Papertrey Ink comes up with more and more amazing products. I am just absolutely astounded every release and how incredible and unique their designs are. Today I decided to feature the Love Story die and stamps. From the first time I saw this, I have always found this set jaw dropping beautiful!

I first die cut the Love Story die on white cardstock. I ran it through my die cutting machine a few times just to make sure I get all the intricate lines perfectly cut. Then I colored the story book with my copic markers. Then I stamped the words ont he book with dark brown dye ink.

Next, it’s all about the background and giving it enough color so that the sentiment can shine! I created a soft blend of watercolors for the background. I chose colors that I felt were romantic, violet, pink, and a hint of orange for variety.

Once it was all dry, it was ready to glue my intricate die cut directly to my background. Gorgeous isn’t it? I don’t think it’s possible to ever make a bad card with this die!

Now that I have showcased how this product from the past has remained a classic, it’s your turn to share your ideas for the future! Stop by Nichole’s blog to share a new project you make with this product, or just share a creation that is somehow inspired by what I made today.
