Scallops, scallops, scallops! We all love die cutting scallop borders, scallop frames, scallop everything! There was a point in time I was so addicted to it that I kept using it in all my cards. It’s definitely a must-have classic die to have in your collection.
This month’s MFT Creative Construction With Blueprints featuring all things scallops. Many of the MFT blueprints come with scallopped dies, and often times is my go-to set to grab large rectangular scallop dies. Today I wanted to share a card using MFT Tag Blueprint with scallops, Tag Builder Blueprints 3.
I first started blending Grapesicle and Bubblegum dye ink onto smooth white card stock. Then I die cut the pretty scallop rectangle out of it and the words ‘Be Mine’ towards the bottom. I chose to work with the Otterly Love You and Bold Blooms stamp set. The otter was colored with copic markers.
I went with a soft blend of various watercolors, pink, blue, and some purple splatter. I adhered my scallop rectangle with foam tape and then arranged my flowers and otter together.
Hope you like today’s fun inspiration with Blueprints! Be sure to check out my MFT blog for more inspiration from my fellow talented teamies!
