Today I’ll be featuring the Papertrey Ink Inflate & Celebrate stamp set and the Beautiful Berries stamp set. I must say, my ideas have been heavily influenced by all the wedding planning/browsing I’ve been doing, and I’m constantly thinking about how I’d want to create my save the date and wedding invitations! I love soft colors and I thought it would be charming to stamp the beautiful berries in pastel pinks and greens.
These berries are just so lovely. I love them so much. Betsy is so talented with her stamp set designs, don’t you agree? The Inflate & Celebrate is great set, and perfect to create these save the date cards. The font just looks so classic! I first stamped the ampersand sign in the same Lovely Lady color I used on the berries in the center of the card. This helped me emboss the remaining sentiments ‘Save the date’ and ‘Don’t be late’ evenly above and below it.
The silver embossing just elevates the classiness of the card. I trimmed the edges of the stamped card by 0.25″ on each side, and then adhered it against my A2 white card base over craft foam. I can easily print the details of my event details and adhere it to the inside of the card! Oh the possibilities.
