PTI Introducing Shadowed Sentiments, Offbeat Birthday, & Multiply Dies

I am so excited for this post cause it’s my first release with Papertrey Ink on the design team and I am so happy to be sharing these products in all its glory with you today. Today I am showcasing 2 brand new sentiment stamp sets, Shadowed Sentiments and Offbeat Birthday, and a die set called Multiply.

For my first card, let’s start clean and simple. I started by stamping the ‘hello’ from Shadows Sentiments in Fine Linen, Cocoa Bean, and Sweet Blush dye inks. Then I die cut the triangles from Multiply Dies in various positions off the edge of the white cardstock.

I then die cut the same triangles on Enchanted Evening, Raspberry Fizz, Hawaiian Shores, and Luxe Gold cardstock once each. I then inlaid these colored triangles into the stamped white cardstock in varying order.

The top layer is just 0.25″ smaller on each side and adhered to my A2 base card over craft foam.

Next up, I used the Offbeat Birthday and Multiply Dies. This time I used my triangle pieces like they were little sequins! I started with an A2 size piece of watercolor paper, and painted streaks of black paint down from the top. I finished with some splatter and let it dry.

Once it was dry, I heat embossed the sentiment ‘Today is all about you’ from Offbeat Birthday across the top center in gold. I adhered the triangles, pointing down, in various places.

For my next card, I created a film strip! I started by cutting down a strip of black cardstock to 3.5″ by 7″. Then I used the rectangles from the Multiply Dies to die cut the sides to create a film strip. I then stamped ‘It’s Your Day!’ from Shadowed Sentiments onto white cardstock three times and then cut them into little rectangles, as close to the sentiment as I could without touching it.

I then adhered the black piece directly onto my A2 base diagonally and snipped off the edges extending past my base with a paper trimmer. Next I adhered the 3 sentiment pieces onto my film strip with foam tape, starting with the middle one. And then, again, snipped off the edges of extending pieces. How fun, right?

All March release products will be available in the Papertrey Ink store on March 15th!

Thanks so much for dropping by today. I hope you are as excited as I am about these new products! Hope to see you back here soon with more projects featuring more March release goodies.

I appreciate how you’ve shown the versatility of the dies with three very different cards. The first is my favorite because I love color, but the filmstrip card is amazing.

Hi Elaine! I’m not quite sure which card you are referring to in this post. Is it another post you are referring to?
