MFT April Release New Product Launch

It’s finally time! The MFT April Release is now live, and I have one more card for you this week featuring the Springtime Critters, and many other April products.

I absolutely adore this set and the Springtime Blooms together. The whimsy illustration of this set, just makes it so fun to work with. I had envision this background to be black and white, and only with the frog colored, but as I kept working on this card, things really came together just as I hoped for!

I started with a Steel Grey cardstock and heat embossed these flowers from the Springtime Blooms in white across the card. Then, I die cut one edge with grass edge from the Spring Scene Builder. Next I stamped my images in hybrid ink and colored them with copic markers. I then die cut with coordinating dies.

For my sentiment, I used the Oval Word Window Frames which fits my sentiment perfectly. I used Cornflower cardstock for the frame, and heat embossed my sentiment in silver over white cardstock.

To assemble it all together, I used the pattern stripes paper at the bottom for the grass. Then I adhered each of the pieces with foam tape, leaving just enough room to curl the edges of the butterflies and the flower.

Hope you enjoy today’s post and have fun shopping! I can’t wait to see what products you guys end up picking and seeing your beautiful projects on social media. Head on over to the MFT Blog for more release products and inspirations from participating design members. All release products are now available at the MFT Store. See you next time!
