Hello! It’s time for MFT’s Release Replay and we’re excited to revisit some of the April Release products in some new and fun ways!
My card today features the adorable stamp set, Four-Legged Friends. It was the first set to sell out in the release, however MFT is usually quick to restock. If you don’t know already, I’m a dog person. I currently have a 6 month y/o puppy that we adopted in December and love him to bits! So, of course, I was drawn to this cute set!
I first stamped my images in milk chocolate hybrid ink and colored them with copics. I then die cut with coordinating dies. Since I colored my dogs in neutral colors, I knew I wanted a colorful background so I decided to alternate blends of Mermaid Lagoon and Crushed Olive.
The new Blueprints 32 has a thin frame that I die cut out of white card stock, and adhered slanted. I snipped off any parts of the frame that was outside the A2 boundaries. Next, I die cut the letters R-U-F-F with the LLD Stitched Alphabet right out of the blended background, and inlaid it back with foam tape.
I adhered the dogs in the 4 corners of the card with foam squares. I also heat embossed ‘You Are Pawsome’ from the stamp set in bronze onto Biscotti cardstock and trimmed it down. I adhered that with foam tape right below the letters.
The stitching and depth of those letters are just the right amount of accent I wanted. Hope you like today’s card!
