MFT June Release Countdown Day 3

We’re half way through the My Favorite Things June Release countdown, but still so much more to share! It’s almost summer (June 20th!), so let’s bring in the ocean fun to cool us down in the heat.

The Ocean Fun set is so cute. It is filled with ocean animals in solid stamping styles and I instantly knew I needed to create a fun little background with them. Remember the Monsters Love set awhile ago? Similar to that set, you stamp the fishes and then the eyes separately, leaving some creativity on how you want to stamp the eyes, whether your little jelly fish is looking up or down, it’s all up to you!

I used a combination for 4 dye inks: Blue Breeze, Berrylicious, Limelade, and Limelight. I stamped all the fishes first using my mini MISTI as I like the ability to double stamp if I don’t get good coverage with solid stamps. Then I stamped all the eyes with kraft hybrid ink.

Then I die cut the new Die-namics Big Thanks out of white CS and trimmed down the negative portion for my card. I then heat embossed my second sentiment from the Ocean Fund set ‘Much Appreciocean’ in white onto kraft CS.

Check out the MFT Blog for more release information and more projects from participating design team members. All release products will be available Tuesday, June 6th at 9pm EST in the MFT Store. Be sure to come back tomorrow for more projects from the June release!

Cheers,

Supplies
