PTI Feature: Beautiful Berries Summer & Humming Along

If you haven’t checked out the Papertrey Ink June Release yet, then you’re seriously missing out! All June release products are now available in the Papertrey Ink store, and the team will be sharing more projects over the next few days to inspire you with ideas!

My first card features the gorgeous new Beautiful Berries: Summer stamp set and dies. It such a gorgeous and well designed set! I created some raspberries by stamping the images in Lovely Lady and Autumn Rose dye inks. I stamped the leaves in Green Parakeet and New Leaf dye inks.

I created a soft blended background with Vintage Jadeite and Lovely Lady dye inks, and then added a touch of splatetr with the Lovely Lady dye ink. I then die cut the stitched brackets using the new From the Point Edgers.  I just adore how elegant those borders look.

Even though this set has such sweet sentiments, I couldn’t resist but to reach for the new sentiment die, Big Basics: Just For You, and die cut it in Gold Luxe card stock. I die cut it again out of white CS so I can give the sentiment some extra thickness.

My next card features another stunning set called Humming Alone. This layering set is so well illustrated that my images are so incredibly detailed and offers so many ways to change up the color schemes to stamp them. I have no idea if there are hummingbirds that are pink and blue, but that’s what I had my heart set to stamp. I used my MISTI tool to help me stay aligned as I stamped each layer and part of the hummingbirds and flowers. I then die cut with coordinating dies.

I created a simple background with Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn distress inks. With so much that was going to be added to my card, I thought a light background would be best. I heat embossed my sentiment in silver. The sentiments in this set are so sweet and so beautifully written.

I adhered all the pieces onto my background with foam tape.

Supplies Used:

These new stamp sets are quite the stunners, don’t you agree? If they haven’t made it on your shopping list, I think you need to reconsider! If these are enough inspiration for you, there is plenty of gorgeous projects from my teammies, so be sure to check out the Papertrey Ink blog for more!

See you again soon!
