Hey there! I have a special post today featuring a beautiful Flora & Fauna stamp set called Wildflower Seeds. Flora & Fauna is a younger stamp company and has a fun, whimsical style in their illustrations. I’ve always been quite fond of loose illlustrations and was quite excited to have the opportunity to work with their products!
All the images in today’s card comes from the stamp set Wildflower Seeds. The details of the weeds were absolutely beautiful, so I really wanted to heat emboss it and bring out the image through ombre ink blending.
I thought it would be fun to also use the same technique to add some butterflies to the card. I chose to use purple inks to compliment the greens as it stands out boldly. I fussy cut the butterflies out and slightly folded the butterflies in half to get a 3D effect. I added a thin foam tape strip to the center of the butterfly, keeping the wings free.
And finally, I stamped my sentiment in a dark purple in the top center of the card. All done! Hope you enjoy today’s project and I hope to share more in the near future so stay tune!
