Neat & Tangled

Neat & Tangled October Release Week Day 3

For Day 3 of the Neat & Tangled October Release Week Day 3, we have our beautifully written sentiment set Hello Winter. Yes, winter! My second favorite holiday. Fall is my first! However, tis’ is the season for snow and winter activities!

I started by blending an ombre background with Faded Jeans and Dusty Concord distress inks. I finished off with some Faded Jeans splatter, then I die cut our new Falling Circle cover plate out of it. I also die cut the same cover plate on white card stock, and inlaid all the individual circles into my blended panel.

For my sentiment, I first die cut the outline winter die out of silver glitter paper. I really love how it sparkles! I die cut ‘winter’ out of black card stock and adhered it onto the silver outline piece. I also heat embossed ‘hello’ onto black card stock in white and trimmedf it down. Both pieces were adhered onto the background.

I couldn’t help but add a little cute embellishment to my card by adding a little cute bird from the Get Yeti stamp set. I stamped this image in black hybrid ink and colored it with copic markers, then die cut it out with coordinating dies. I adhered the bird with foam tape.

Want to win this stamp and die set? Be sure to follow the Neat and Tangled blog and leave a comment there and here, and all the design team member blogs for extra chances to win! Thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow for more September release projects!

I love how your card really shows off the new circles die, but also the winter sentiment. I love this font and it looks great without having to add lots of other items. The sweet little bird is the perfect touch!
