Neat & Tangled October Release Week Day 4

Fa la la la llama! Welcome back to Day 4 of the Neat & Tangled October Release. This month’s mini set designed by Elena is called Fa La Llama. Isn’t it so cute? After coloring this darling llama and looking at the sentiments, all I couldn’t get fa la la la out of my head! Well, to help me out, I poured all the fa la la las into this card! Haha!

I went for a modern chic look and stamped the sentiment repetitively into the background in black. I still wanted the main sentiment to stand out so for just the main words, I changed up the colors and stamped it in plum dye ink.

My image is stamped in Dark Brown hybrid ink and colored with copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to die cut it out. I cut 2 strips of black cardstock approximately 3/4″ and die cut a double stitched decorative line on them. Then, I adhered them both top and bottom to give it a nice border. Then, I adhered my llama in place with foam tape.

I love this card and hope you do too!

The way you bordered youir card is black makes it so elegant looking, along with a few chosen words in red. That scarf the cute llama is wearing has such a sheen to it. Super job, and thanks for inspiring me.
