Neat & Tangled March Release Week Day 2

Welcome back to Day 2 of the Neat & Tangled March Release Week! Sharing one my favorite cards made for this month’s release features a new sentiment set called No Words. This handwritten sentiment set features all the words of condolence that you’ll need to send a loved one your support.

Having recently gone through a lost loved one, many of the sentiments in this set meant a lot to me. As much as we never wish that such events occur, when times like these come, it is such a beautiful feeling to just know that you have family and friends there to support you. When I received handmade cards from faraway friends showing support, it felt like a hug from afar. So I definitely think this set is wonderful to have to make those very card for those special occasions.

As I mentioned earlier, this came out to be one of my favorite cards that I made for this month’s release. I stamped the images from Friendly Florals (more details to come tomorrow!) in dark brown hybrid ink and colored them with copic markers. I then die cut them all with the coordinating dies. I arranged a large bouquet of flowers as my center piece, which sat right above my sentiment that I heat embossed in white.

I blended Worn Lipstick and Antique Linen distress oxide inks into the background. The soft pastel colors matches that used in the florals. I framed my image and sentiment with an oval inverse die cut out of a white card stock panel. I used a scalloped frame to add to the delicacy of this card design.
