Right At Home Happiness in a Cup

Have you seen the Right at Home November Release? It is so adorable! I had been such a fan of Right at Home since Nicole founded her cute little shop. She is such a sweet and hard worker, and really shows her love and attention to everything, even down to the packaging. If you’ve ever purchased from the shop, you’d know exactly what I mean when I say she adds a little sunshine to ever order!

To all you caffeine lovers out there, the Cuppa Friendship is definitely for you. Do we have any afternoon tea lovers out there? I love spending a day with my friends over some afternoon tea, and when I saw this set, that’s what I envisioned these two girls were doing. I had a lot of fun coloring these images, and as you can see there’s a lot of details going into it! I stamped the images in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored them with copic markers. I also added some details with a white gel pen, and die cut the images out with the coordinating dies.

To frame my scene, I used the 4th largest size in the A2 Nested Domes Dies out of white card stock. It was like they were sitting at the window of a cafe. I die cut the same frame again out of natural card stock, this time trimming off the bottom third, added some Vintage Photo ink blending, stamped the sentiment from the set, and inlaid it into the frame.

I blended a background with Evergreen Bough and Shabby Shutters that sat behind this frame over craft foam. I added the girls to the table and the text bubble with foam squares. And as a final touch, I gently blended the white frame edges with Vintage Photo and Antique Linen to give it a slightly more rustic charm.

This sweet set is available at the Right at Home shop along with other holiday sets in the release. Be sure to check them out! I will have more projects to share with you in the near future!
