Welcome back to today’s edition of the November Mama Elephant Stamp Highlights and we are showcasing the new sentiment stamp set called Sending Hugs! I love the sentiment this month as it’s great for all sorts of occasions and of course it is beautifully written.
I created an ink blended background with Broken China and Tumbled Glass blended from the top down, and some Bundled Sage blended from the bottom up. Then I stamped the large ‘Sending hugs‘ in Versamark ink and heat embossed it in white.
In addition to using the Sending Hugs stamp set, I also wanted to use some of the other new stamp set this month called Hogs and Kisses. I picked out three of them to build this happy little scene. I stamped it in dark brown hybrid ink and colored them with copic markers. Then I die cut them out with the coordinating dies.
My three little piggies were added to the scene with foam squares. I also decided to add part two of the sentiment. I heat embossed the words ‘and happy thoughts‘ from the Sending Hugs stamp set in white onto kraft card stock. I trimmed it down to a strip and added it just below the handlettered sentiment. Lots of happy thoughts here!
