Welcome back to Day 4 of the MFT January Release Countdown! I’m excited to share this month’s new Birdie Brown stamp set called BB Cute Chemists. I love, love, love this set. And yes, I am a nerd at heart, an ex-engineer, and know several friends that would love a chemist themed card sent their way! If you’re in the a similar boat, then I just know you’ll love this set too!
This reminded me of a few chemistry themed products that MFT had retired a couple years back, and I remember being sad that they were being retired because I loved the chemistry puns. Now with Birdie Brown’s designs, oh my gosh, I love it. I stamped the male scientist and several beakers in Milk Chocolate hybrid ink and colored them up with copic markers. Then, I used the coordinating dies to die cut the images out.
I used the Blueprints 33 to create my layout. I blended a piece with Chipped Sapphire and Peacock Feathers distress oxide ink and die cut it out with the large hexagonal frame. Behind it, I used a grid pattern paper from the Graphic Grid Paper Pack. I heat embossed the sentiment in lower right side in white.
I added the cute chemist to the left side and the various beakers in whimsical fashion above the sentiment. All images were added with foam tape. Sweet and simple!
