Waffle Flower My Favorite Valentine

Happy Saturday! If you haven’t checked out the Waffle Flower January Release yet, be sure you do! I wanted to share one more project that I created for the release, featuring an adorable set called Favorite Valentine illustrated by Kamo.

I just adore this Valentine stamp set! Kamo was a new-to-me illustrator when Waffle Flower first brought her on board last year, and I have been a huge fan of work ever since. I just love single one of her sets, and this one is definitely a favorite for sure. All images were stamped from this stamp set in a dark brown hybrid ink, colored with copic markers, and then die cut with the matching dies.

My background was ink blended with Worn Lipstick, Antique Linen, and Broken China distress oxide inks, similar color choices as my copic coloring. The card is further framed with a white border, which I die cut using the largest frame in theĀ Stitched Layers dies.

I added the four bows to the frame to embellish the angles and added it against the blended background over foam tape. The sentiment is also from the stamp set, stamped in Versamark ink, and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder onto a light blue card stock. I trimmed it down to a thin strip to be added towards the bottom of the card.

The colors of this card make me very happy, and of course those sweet images make this card perfect for the love of your life.
