So these incredibly cute Little Chickie Agenda [SSS] has been invading my Instagram as of late, and I just love them so much! The chicks were one of my favorite little characters from some of their previous sets, Lil’ Painters and Party Animals, and when I saw an entire set of them, I was instantly filled with excitement!
I always color the entire set, but with some many little chickies, I had so many to play with! You can check out with I did with my first batch of them here, but today I decided to scoop them up in a jar and bring them onto this outdoor elongated scene. My images were stamped in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored with copic markers, then die cut with the coordinated dies.
I started by creating this shaker component using the Jar Shaker CC [SSS]. The jar is ink blended with Tumbled Glass, and the top was die cut out of gray card stock and colored in with some copic markers. The shaker is assembled with a layer of craft foam die cut with the Jar Shaker CC, and sealed with an acetate window. Inside, I added a layer of grass using the Grassy Trio Creative Cuts [SSS], a few chicks, and lots of sparkly star sequins.
I wanted to depict a scene of chicks unleashed out of the jar. Since an A2 size would not have left me enough room, I opted for a slimline card sized at 3.5″ by 8.5″. From there, I continued to build out the scene with a hilly grass using the Landscape Trio, paired with the Picket Fence in white.
