My Favorite Things

MFT March Release Countdown Day 4

Hello! I’m jumping right into the second day of the My Favorite Things March Release countdown and we’re unveling the new Birdie Brown set called Best in Show.

I’m always excited for dog sets! The dogs showcased in the dog shows are always incredible, and their posture and perfectly trained trots down the showroom is always so impressive. My dog is quite the opposite! He either runs wild or sleeps. There’s not a lot of in between! Haha. But he’s such a good boy and we love him to bits. So, anyways, back to stamping! This set is adorable, and if you are as big mushy dog loving person, you’re going to definitely love this set too.

I picked out this corgi looking dog and the little hurdle images to work with. They are stamped in Milk Chocolate hybrid ink then colored with copic markers. The little scene was created with the Grassy Hills Die-namics die cut out of Sour Apple card stock, and a background blended with the new Ray of Light stencil using distress oxide inks.

The scene was framed off using a panel I die cut using A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1, and the circle stitch die from the Rainy Circle Die-namics. I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto a piece of Milk Chocolate card stock and used some pattern paper from the Proper Pinstripes Pastels Pack. I finished the card off with some stamped paw prints BB Lucky Dog set (there’s a few sets out there with paw prints), and some wooden star embellishments.

Hope you enjoyed the products featured in today’s post and be sure to also check out the MFT Blog for more inspirations from participating designers and other products introduced today!
