Hey there! I hope you’ve taken the time to check out the Waffle Flower March Release if you haven’t already! The winners from the blog hop were announced earlier this week on the Waffle Flower Blog. As promised, I wanted to take you into a deeper dive of a couple more projects I sneaked in the March Release hop featuring the Be Him Combo!
If you love and/or own the previous Be Her set released earlier in January, you’re definitely going to love the Be Him set as well! This set brings you three new animals, the elephant, rabbit, and panda, and tons of fun new accessories for them. For this first card, I used the elephant and gave you a really cool looking pair of sunglasses!
I stamped the images in a black hybrid ink and colored it up with copic markers. I die cut the image out with the matching dies.
For the layout, I die cut a stitched circle using the Nesting Circles 2 Die out of some gray plaid pattern paper. For the ink blended layer behind it, I used Blueprint Sketch and Broken China distress oxide inks.
For the bottom half of the card, I used the Scenery Die on kraft card stock. This created the fun curve and stitched border. I added some black watercolor splatter and stamped the sentiment ‘STAY COOL!’ in the center. This sentiment is from the Stay Cool stamp set.
This next card uses the the sweet bunnies from the Be Him set, but a small bow accessory from the Be Her set to make them a cute couple! That’s why having both sets is so perfect because they accompany each other to give you many, many more options across the board. The bunnies were stamped in a brown hybrid ink and colored with copic markers. Then die cut with the matching dies.
I found this soft sage green pattern paper with polka dots from the Pinkfresh Studio Be You paper pack. Using this pattern paper, I die cut and inlaid the rectangles created with the Stitched Layers die set. The background is ink blended with Faded Jeans and Victorian Velet distress oxide inks.
Since the Be Him set does not have sentiments, I borrowed one from the Bear & Bird stamp set which has a cute little banner image that I colored and stampe dthe sentiment in. I added it just below between the bunnies with foam tape to complete the card. Hope you enjoy today’s cute inspirations and see you back here soon!
