Welcome back to another day of the My Favorite Things April Release Countdown! Stacey Yacula have brought such adorable sets month after month, and this month she’s got little piggies on her mind. Introducing her newest set called Piggy Pebbles!
Pigs (and elephants) are my favorite critters to color. I don’t know why but I find them so adorable! I was really excited to stamp these up in Milk Chocolate hybrid ink and color them with my copic markers. Then, I die cut the images out with their coordinating Die-namics.
Another fun product this month is the Window Die-namics. I used it to create a little interactive scene where you can open up the shutters and see the sentiment and the 3rd happy little pig! I had a piece blended for the background behind the window, and another layer blended with the Small Brick stencil to create the wall. The window piece was die cut in white and inlaid into the opening.
I heat embossed the sentiment in white inside the window. I added a simple stitched ground in grey just grabbing one of my rectangle stitched dies. And finally added the last two piggies to the card with foam tape. Isn’t it adorable?!
