Have you seen the newest release from Pretty Pink Posh? It is just filled with all sorts of wonderful things from the mother’s/father’s day sets, cute critters, graduation, new jewel mixes, and something real new this month, STENCILS! If you haven’t heard me squeal about it enough, I love working with stencils and so excited about the introduction of this line of products to the Pretty Pink Posh store!
Picking out my own colors a huge for me, so stencils allow me to essentially create my “own” pattern paper to match whatever it is I’m trying to do. To me, it’s way easier than flipping through packs to find the right fit, which is why I love working with stencils, and having classic patterns like this Wide Stripes Stencil used here is so essential!
These elephants are so cute, don’t you agree? They are from the new set called Elephant Friends and I stamped them and the flower in a dark brown hyrbid ink and colored them with copic markers. I then used the coordinating dies to die cut the images out.
I created a simple ink blended background to set the scene using the Decorative Tag 2 Dies. I heat embossed the sentiment ‘big hugs’ in white in the top. I mounted this against my striped background with foam tape, and then my images above that were more foam tape to complete the card.
