My Favorite Things

MFT May Release Countdown Day 5

Hooray it’s May, my birthday month, woot woot! And it’s time to kick off the My Favorite Things May Release Countdown! For my first project, I’ll be showcasing the new Stacey Yacula set called Friendly Foxes. They are so adorable and make the sweetest scene.

To build my background, I used the SY Scene Builder. This set was released last month and is a great set to have for all the SY scenes! I stamped the background with Milk Chocolate hybrid ink onto watercolor paper, and then used Arteza Brush Pens to paint in the scene. I also stamped the clouds separately and colored those with copic markers and fussy cut it. The foxes and butterflies (from SY Easter Bunnies) were also colored with copic markers, but die cut out.

I used the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX to die cut the background out and mounted it againstĀ  a simple pattern paper from the Sweet Celebration Paper Pack. I stamped the sentiment directly onto the background towards the bottom center.

And finally, I added all my images to the scene with foam squares, as simple as that! Head on over to the MFT Blog for more details about today’s feature products and more inspiration from the team!
