Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight: Shall We Dance

Let’s dance! We’ve made it half way through the week and there’s so much more to share with you and so little time! Today I’m highlighting the Mama Elephant stamp set called Shall We Dance. This adorable set is Aida Zamora’s newest illustrated set for the June 2019 release and it is as cute as can be!

I colored all four ballerinas in the set with the intention of having them all in one card, but as I was figuring out a layout for them I ended up separating them into two cards, so you get two projects in one post today! The first one here showcases the hippos in their cute tu-tus. They are stamped in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored with copics and die cut out with matching dies.

I centered my layout around the Hilly Hello creative cuts. I love the curves and movement it gave for these dancers. The layout has three layers, the bottom and top ones behind ink blended in a soft pink and yellow. I stamped the sentiment right below the hello in the same curvature and added the images thereafter.

I continued the color theme onto my second card and once again centered my card with the Hilly Hello creative cuts. However this time around I used the small flower image from the stamp set to create a polka dot pattern in the bottom half.

I love this sentiment ‘dance like nobody’s watching.’ Such a great motivational line for a little dancer!
