It’s time for the Reverse Confetti monthly hop! It’s an off-month so there’s no new release, so it’s the perfect time to play with some older goodies and inspire you to maybe use some stamps you may already have in your stash. The March release had some of my recent favorite sets and the one I really wanted to bring out and play again is Spring Pals.
I stamped the images from Spring Pals stamp set in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored them with copic markers. The sun and clouds are from the Rainy Day Fun stamp set. Both sets do have matching dies, but I used it where I had them otherwise the remaining images were cut out using my ScanNCut 2.
I used some grass dies to layer the ground and each layer was ink blended with Bundled Sage distress oxide ink and Niagara Mist VersaMagic chalk ink. I also die cut a small rectangle using the Lacy Scallop Frame out of white card stock, used washi tape to mask the lacy edges and added some light ink blending with Spring Pansy VersaMagic chalk ink. I stamped a sentiment from Sentiment Gems.
For the background, I used a simple striped pattern paper from the Sweet Stripes 6×6 Paper Pad for the background. After I added all the layers, I added a few drops Pale Periwinkle Nuvo Jewel Drops to the card.
