It’s a new MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge and this week’s sketch has inspired me to create a clean and simple design with the BB Friends with Fins set released earlier this June. Last time I used this set, I brought out the dophins and killer whale, but this time I am bringing out the whale, shark, and narwhal!
So this week’s sketch led me to a rather clean and simple design. I started off by stamping my images from BB Friends with Fins in Milk Chocolate hybrid ink and coloring it with copic markers. Then, I used the matching dies to cut them out.
I used some post-it tape to mask off a rectangular area on my A2 sized white card stock. I ink blended with distress oxides, distressed it a little with some splashes of water, and then used the darkest blue to stamp the little fishes within this masked area.
I heat embossed the sentiment in white across the ink blended ocean, then added my ocean animals last with foam tape in the positions similar to the sketch. And that’s it!
