MFT July Release Countdown Day 4

Hey ya’ll! I’m a day late to the party, but excited jump on the MFT July Release Countdown to share some projects with this fabulous line up of products. Yesterday, you would have seen the full reveal of Birdie Brown’s newest sets and I’ll be using the Sunshine & Friendship set in combination with the new Impact Alphabet Dienamics.

These Impact Alphabet Die-namics die cut clean capital letters that make it great to create your own large sentiment and they also work beautifully as shaker windows. I started by creating a background using various distress oxide inks by direct to paper and ink smooshing techniques. I had a lot of fun creating this. After it dried, I was then able to die cut the word ‘SPLASH’.

With one layer of foam and acetate sealing off  the shaker components, I completed the shaker part of this card and moved onto adding the images. The images were stamped in Milk Chocolate hybrid ink, colored with copic markers and die cut the images with the matching dies. They were added onto the card with foam tape.

I heat embossed my sentiment in silver onto white card stock and trimmed off the ‘splash’ word at the end of the sentiment as I had replaced it with my large letters. I added the sentiment across with foam tape.
