My Favorite Things

August 2019 MFT & Friends

It’s release day with My Favorite Things! I’ve shared with you several scene cards featuring their adorable sets this month, so I decided to share something a little different by using the new Abstract Doodle set to create a fun, whimsical background to pair with our cute little witch!

I stamped all my images in the Extreme Black hybrid ink and colored up the images with copic markers. I then used the matching Die-namics to die cut all the images.

The background was stamped using the Abstract Doodle stamp set. I used colors similar to my copic color choices. Then, I added some black paint splatter to add more to that abstract look!

The background is pretty busy, so to dull it down I used some vellum paper. I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto Sour Apple card stock and trimmed it down to a thin strip. Then, I added the sentiment and all my die cut images to the card with foam tape.

That wraps up the the release week! For more inspiration from the team and friends, drop by the MFT Blog. Happy crafting!
