My Favorite Things

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge 450

There’s a new sketch up on the My Favorite Things blog! This week’s sketch #450 is a great way to incorporate height into your layout and I have used it to create a scene with the recently released stamp set Hop, Flip, and a Jump. This adorable set have our critters having a blast bouncing on a trampoline!

I stamped my images in Milk Chocolate hybrid ink and colored them with copic markers. Then, I used the matching Die-namics to die cut out the images.

The background was ink blended with Blueprint Sketch, Shaded Lilac and Spun Sugar distress oxide inks. Then I used the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX to die cut the frame and using a partial die cut technique to extend the vertical height of it.

I added a layer of grass using the Grassy Hills Die-namics out of Sour Apple card stock. The sentiment was heat embossed in white onto Sour Apple card stock and die cut with the Skinny Strips Die-namics. I used a matching piece of pattern card stock from the Petite Plaid Paper Pack. These cute critters are so sweet!
