Pinkfresh Studio has dropped their new Holiday Release today and it’s a fabulous one! I picked out one of the cutest sets in this release called Skiing by to work with and showcase just how adorable it is on a card!
The whimsical illustrations of these skiing critters really add an extra cuteness to them. I stamped them in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored them up with copic markers. I then used the matching die set to die cut the images out.
Not only is the die set create for cutting out the images, but they also include dies to create this scene with slopes and mountains! I love how it’s all packaged together. I die cut the mountain out of a soft gray card stock and the snowy tops out and slopes out of white card stock. The snowy die cuts were also gently blended with Tumbled Glass distress oxide ink.
I decided to go for a pink sky using Victorian Velvet distress oxide ink and splattered it white paint for a snowy look. The sentiment was stamped in the bottom left corner. I also embellished the snow slopes with little iridescent jewels using the Essentials: Jewels Mix.
