Today I’ll be sharing with you some tag inspiration with the Baked with Love and Handcrafted Happiness sets released earlier this month. Both these sets are great to add that extra special handmade touch to a gift, and today’s theme is great for gifting baked goods!
I started by stamping several images from Baked with Love in a dark brown hybrid ink and coloring it with copic markers. I used a white gel pen to add some detailing such as the polka dots and lines on the critters’ clothing. I then used the matching dies to die cut each of the images out.
Next, we’ll want to ink blend a piece of bristol paper to use for the background and what the tag will be die cut out of. I wanted to create four tags, so I started with a piece that was 4″ x 10″ and ink blended from the top down with Broken China and Antique Linen distress oxide inks, and from the bottom up with Bundled Sage distress oxide ink. Then, I used the tag die from Framed Tags – Artist Mat to die cut my four tags.
I used the Handcrafted Happiness stamp set to stamp the limited edition logo in the background with Broken China distress oxide ink and the batch no. 1 vertically along the edge in Pizza Crust ink.
For each of the tags, I chose a sentiment from the Baked with Love stamp set and heat embossed it toward the top center of the tag in white. I then assembled each of the little scenes on each tag with my die cut images and adhered them with foam tape. Aren’t they all so adorable? Now I just need to go bake some cookies to pair these cute tags with!
