The Greetery November Release: Winter is Blossoming

Hello dear friends! I hope you have all been well and crafting away for the holidays. Time flies by this time of year with holiday events, family travelling, and of course ’tis the season to do a lot of shopping! Whatever it is that is keeping you busy, hope you’ll spare some time with me today to enjoy some inspirations with a mini November Release with The Greetery!

My first card today showcases the gorgeous Pine Blossom stamp and die and the Nordic Frames die. I absolutely love these products! Notice the accents around the frame even match the font in the sentiment? Beautiful right? I die cut the largest and middle Nordic Frames out of white card stock and gently blended the edges with Tea Dye distress oxide ink to give it a more vintage feel.

Now for the fun part, stamping the flowers! I went for a pastel/soft look so I picked out the following ink colors for my images:

Large flowers: Altenew Wisteria, Hydrangea, and Ultraviolet
Small flowers: Altenew Rouge, Velvet and Crimson
Greenery: Altenew Grass Field, Shadow Creek, VersaMagic Aegean Blue

The stamp set has the individual flowers as well as the full arrangement in one image, which allowed me to pop up the large purple flowers up with dimension. I wanted the arrangement to extend further in width so I added some more smaller pink flowers to the large image to spread it out more.

I stamped the sentiment in a dark brown color in the center of the card. The large floral arrangement sat below the sentiment, and the smaller one sat above the sentiment. I added my card panel to a Neenah Desert Storm card base to complete the card.

For my second card, I wanted to showcase the Inside & Out Berry Branch die. I really love the design of this die. You can have the die cuts inlaid in the outline or you can have it offset to create a layered look. I wanted to play around with the layers, so after I die cut the branch out of white card stock, I separated the inside and ink blended them to “color” those pieces.

I started with a Neenah Desert Storm A2 base for my background. I die cut the smallest Nordic Frame out of white card stock, gently blended the edges with Tea Dye distress oxide ink and stamped the sentiment right in the center of it in dark brown ink

I added the white outline die cuts to my card first, then the rectangle with my sentiment next, and the green foliage last. I added some light white paint splatter for some interest to complete the card.
