Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight: Zodiac Tiger

Happy Monday! I hope you had a lovely weekend! Today’s edition of Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight is all about the Zodiac Tiger. In the Chinese Zodiac, I am a tiger! I’ve always connected to my zodiac, and love getting little things like charms and paintings of tigers, so I was very excited for this set!

I love how the Zodiac Tiger set also comes with the boba drink! I love drinking milk tea boba, it is absolutely my favorite drink to have. If you have not had the opportunity to try it, you should definitely Yelp and see if you have somewhere nearby you can try! I stamped the tigers and boba drinks in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored them with copic markers. They were die cut with the matching dies.

I used the monstera leaves from The Wild Roar and stamped them on a piece of bristol paper. I did some quick coloring using a green Arteza brush pen to color all the leaves, then lightly splatted some random green watercolor paint for interest and color variation.

I ink blended a simple background with Broken China and Old Paper distress oxide inks, and then die cut it with Sweet Feline CC to get the scallop edge. I did the same with a piece of kraft card stock, and then die cut it again with Grassy Trio.

The sentiment here came from the set Sunday Sentiments. I had die cut a curvy sentiment banner from Venice Envelope and heat embossed a sentiment on it in white. I added the banner along the bottom edge of the grass, and then piled on my tigers in the scene above with foam tape. These kitties are sure having a great day!
