I’m so excited to finally share with you the The Greetery January release called Love Letters Collection.
For this project, I primarily used the Signed & Sealed With A Kiss, Signed & Sealed, and Pretty Postmarks stamps and dies. I stamped several flourishes from Signed & Sealed With a Kiss using Altenew inks. The leaves were stamped in Forest Glades and Evergreen inks and the florals were stamped with Cloudy Sky and Nimbus inks. I used the matching dies to die cut all the images.
The envelope is from Signed & Sealed and I stamped it with LF Pizza Crust ink and Victorian Velvet distress oxide ink. I gently ink blended it with Tea Dye distress oxide ink a light tint. The dies for this set cuts a slit to create an envelope opening where I can position my floral arrangement blooming out of the envelope! I gave the envelope a little extra interest by stamping the sentiment and some postal markings.
I used the images from Pretty Postmarks to create a soft background with a random arrangement. I used again the same colors that were prominent in my stamped images. I die cut it with the smaller frame in Postal Frames and inlaid it back with dimension. I added the envelope arrangement at a tilt with foam tape to complete this card!
This next card once again features stamped images from Signed & Sealed With A Kiss and Signed & Sealed. This time around, I wanted to arrange the florals differently, so I had it reaching towards the envelope focal point from opposite corners of the card.
My envelope was stamped in a dark brown ink and then ink blended with Vintage Photo distress oxide ink. The liner of the envelope is stamped in Stormy Sky distress oxide ink. The leaves were stamped in Forest Glades and Evergreen inks and the florals were stamped with Coral Berry and Ruby Red inks. I love the pops of bright pink flower against the muted blue!
In the same corners the foliage grew, I also ink blended them with Stormy Sky distress oxide inks. This time the sentiment gets to have it’s own die cut to help it stand out amongst all the business in the background. This little sign is part of the Signed & Sealed stamp. The sentiment in two part, so I was able to stamp it in different colors. I lightly blended the edge of the sign with Vintage Photo distress oxide ink and added it right over the envelope with foam tape.
I hope you enjoy today’s projects! Be sure to stop by The Greetery blog and the blogs from the inspiration team designers below for more inspiration. See you tomorrow for part 2!
