This month’s Mama Elephant release introduces the newest floral stamp set illustrated by Anna Osvald called Corner Flowers. As can be expected with any of her sets, the florals are truly beautiful!
This set comes with two large floral corner arrangements and few additional smaller ones that provide some options to your flower building. I have picked one of the floral corners and heat embossed it in gold in two corners of my bristol paper.
I then created a very loose watercolor look, not worrying about where the lines are and giving variation to the colors by dipping wet areas with additional paint. I then set it off to dry and flatten.
I sized down the panel just a little bit smaller than an A2 and added it to a white base card over foam tape. This added just a thin dimensional border to the card. I die cut the word ‘thanks’ using the Thanks Script Creative Cuts in a gold mirror card stock, and two more times with white card stock and layered them together.
I followed the sentiment with ‘for all that you do’ which comes from the Many Thanks stamp set. I stamped this with Versamark ink onto pink card stock and heat embossed it in white. I trimmed it down to a thin strip and added it just below the ‘thanks’ with foam tape. Didn’t this card come out so elegant? I love how quickly and easy it was to put together!
