Mama Elephant makes the cutest critter sets! I think it was last year when they first released the Stackable Cuties and this month they released an additional set in called Stackable Friends! The two combined make the cutest batch of critters and you can stack all 19 of them together for such a fun pile of friends!
The Stackable Friends set has 9 critters and I stamped and colored all them for this card. Since I needed 10 to complete my frame idea, I borrowed the piggy Stackable Cuties. All my images are stamped in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored with copic markers.
I created an ink blended background with alternating Broken China and Worn Lipstick distress oxide inks to give it a glow. I also die cut the background with the large frame from Framed Tags – Hexastar Creative Cuts. I wanted a good bold sentiment in the center, and I found what I was looking for from the Poppy Flowers set. I stamped in the same dark brown ink right in the center.
Now it’s time to assemble my critter frame! I’m not too crazy about needing measure the positions, so I pretty much eyeballed it. I started by adding a critter for each corner first and then filled in the rest of the border. They are each added with foam squares for a little dimension.
Aw, aren’t they so cute all assembled together? This reminds me of one of those personality quizzes where it tells you what your spirit animal you are. Well folks, whoever you are, whatever your spirit animal is, you are wonderful just the way you are!
Hi Keeway, just wanted to say how much I love your ME Corner Flowers creation and I have given it a go myself (https://thecraftbucket.blogspot.com/2020/03/mothering-sunday.html) not as good as yours by any means but I just loved it so much, thank you, stay safe love Jane x
