Clearly Besotted May Release Countdown Teasers Day 3

Welcome back to day 3 of the Clearly Besotted May Release Countdown! Today I am sharing with you a sweet scene card made with the Peaceful Plushies stamp set. You may have spotted them in their introductions on the Clearly Besotted blog on day 1, but if you haven’t be sure you do! I love cherry blossoms and find them so beautiful, and hope to be able to see them in person in Japan one of these days.

Every image you see colored here is from the Peaceful Plushies stamp set, and there are many more images packed into this set as well! I colored them with copic markers and used my handy dandy Scan N’ Cut to help me cut out the images.

I love having scenic elements like the ones in this set because it makes scene building so easy! I did some simple masking with post its to create an block of sky and block of water. The grass area that the foxes are standing on is separately layered on that I created using a simple oval shaped die.

I wanted to use a white border around my scene and this just reminded me of something I might see in a Nippon stamp (Japanese postage stamps). So I decided to use a postal frame for this. My sentiment was heat embossed in white right in the center of the green slope and all my images were aded last with foam tape.

These sweet little foxes do look very peaceful don’t they?! Wish I can be there with them enjoying cherry blossom season. Hope you enjoy today’s inspiration, and check out the  Clearly Besotted blog and team members Keren Baker and Michelle Short for more!
