Hello, hello! I am so thrilled to be joining Clearly Besotted this month for their May Release Countdown! I absolutely LOVE their stamps and this month is just jaw-dropping adorable. I can’t wait to share all the inspirations and start today with one of my favorite and will be posting over the next four days. Ready to get started?
Aren’t these critters holding flowers just the cutest?! I literally squealed on the inside when I saw this set called Flower Plushies! There are 6 of these critters in the set, and 4 of them are showcased here. I stamped it in dark brown hybrid ink, colored them up with copic markers, and used my Scan n’ Cut to cut out these images. The fence image is also part of this set. The sun and clouds is from another set called Under My Umbrella.
With so many cute images packed here, I kept this scenery rather simple. I ink blended the skies with Chipped Sapphire and Broken Glass distress oxide inks. The grass was die cut out of green card stock and ink blended with Bundled Sage and Needle Pine distress oxide inks. You can also see that I used a large stitched A2 rectangle for the whole thing, just a pretty little detail to have!
I heat embossed the sentiment in white in the bottom center and filled up my scene with all my colored images and added them on with foam tape. I know we can all used a little sunshine lately and hope this brings a smile to your face.
Be sure to check out the Clearly Besotted blog for more spectacular inspirations with the May release!
