The newest Stacey Yacula collection at Purple Onion Designs called Sunshine Lake is finally here! I am always so, so excited when a new collection comes out and its been a while since we’ve seen one. And this collection is absolutely packed with cuteness and perfect for the summer.
The full collection consists of 25 stamps (27 individual images) and the sentiment set containing 6 different sentiments. My card showcases the lake, Cosmo, Peony, August, and Sampson images paired with one of the sentiments. They were all stamped in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored up with copic markers. I then used my Scan N Cut to cut out each of the critter images.
Stacey’s illustrations are always very detailed, and I appreciate how well these details stamp when using rubber stamps. I just don’t see the same quality in details when using clear stamps, so her illustrations are very special here! I created a grassy foreground here by ink blending Bundled Sage and Forest Moss distress oxide ink, then did cut with some grass dies.
Both the background and the grass edge were also die cut with an A2 sized stitched rectangle. I stamped the sentiment in the top left corner and added all my images to the card with foam tape. I can’t wait to be out and about enjoying the wonderful weather like these cuties soon when life returns to normal!
Starting today until May 31, 2019 the Sunshine Lake Collection is sold at a special bundle price of $115 (30% discount off of all the stamps)! Don’t miss out on this awesome deal, especially if you love the entire collection. I’ll be sure the share some more inspirations down the road so stay tuned!15
How adorable! My favorite image is the cute little turtle with his sunhat.
