Hello friends! It’s time to celebrate The Greetery‘s 1st birthday with a release with all things birthday themed! We’re a little late to the party with all the that’s going around the world, but nevertheless it’s been definitely worth the wait. I have a big post for you filled with tons of inspiration with today’s products filled with birthday blooms, balloons, and confetti!
Let’s think happy! The Think Happy stamp and cut combo is just packed with lots of joy. I used the cut out of various pastel color card stock and gold mirror card stock to assemble this rainbow and floral packed cloud design. It took some time to inlay all the little gold pieces, but the end result made it so worth it!
I used a basic cloud stencil to ink blend my background and heat embossed the sentiment ‘oh happy day’ from the Think Happy stamp set in gold embossing powder. I used my extra gold mirror die cuts to decorate the remainder of the card like sequins!
This next pair of cards features the Birthday Blooms stamp set and die collection. When I work with these layered stamp images, I like to stamp in bulk, so it is very easy to create more than one card at a time! I used Altenew ink pad colors and they are as follows:
Pinks: Pinkalicious, Rubellite
Greens: Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades
Blues: Eastern Sky, Ultramarine
I die cut a piece of bristol board with the Crimed Frame Die and masked off the edges with washi tape. The backgrounds were ink blended from the top down and the bottom up, with the lightest pressure towards the center. I added a gentle ink splatter with the same inks. I then stamped the sentiment from Birthday Blooms in black right in the center.
I used the die cut flourishes around the sentiment, following the direction of the blooms, and adding them to my card with foam tape. It took a little extra effort to cut my foam tape into thin strips, but the dimension adds such a lovely look!
This last card features several products from today’s product reveal, including the Balloon Bouquet stamp set, Big Balloons die collection, and Twisted Crepe die collection. I started by using the stamp set to stamp out my balloon and its floral design. Then, I die cut the stamped image with the balloon using the largest size balloon die found in the Big Ballons die collection and the string out of gold mirror card stock. I heat embossed one of the balloons with a sentiment in gold embossing powder.
I ink blended a background with Chipped Sapphire, Faded Jeans, and Old Paper distress oxide inks. I then die cut some decorative crepe using the Twisted Crepe die collection out of gold mirror card stock and added it to the background. The balloons were added last to complete the card.
We are packed full with inspirations from the team and several stellar guests, so definitely be sure to stop by The Greetery Blog for the full list and also participate in the giveaways by leaving comments on any of the blogs today!
