The pandemic has really thrown curveballs our way, but nevertheless, we’ve continue to persevere and continue to support each other! So many in the community have stepped up, especially out healthcare heroes out there, I have seen so many teachers out there that have been remarkable things to continue social distanced learning and support the education system in so many creative ways. Let’s take a moment to thank all the great teachers out there!
Right behind birthdays and the winter holidays, thank you teacher cards are pretty high on my list of occasions to craft for, and the recently released School Rules set is pretty awesome for that! I love all of Aida Zamora’s illustrated sets and this one is as cute as can be! I stamped all the images in brown and colored them up with copic markers, then die cutting the images out with the coordinating dies.
Another fun product released this month is the Letter Board Creative Cuts. It’s definitely perfect for this school themed card, but incredibly versatile for any occasion. I went for a green chalkboard look and assembled the words “to my #1 teacher”. This letter board fits 7 letters across pretty comfortably, but I wouldn’t exceed that.
I added my colored images towards the bottom of the letterbaord and adhered them with foam squares.
Doesn’t the letterboard standing up look so great? I can definitely see this used beyond cardmaking and as a welcome sign or a quote board as well!
Hi Keeway! I couldn’t agree more about the curve balls these days! I’d be lost if not for my favorite blogs & designers. I love this sweet card, just perfect! Thanks for continuing to create and inspire. Please take good care! 😎💖
