Have you been checking out the Clearly Besotted October Release Countdown all week down? If you haven’t yet, you should definitely check out their blog for all the incredible projects with the new release! The October Release is packed full of festive and winter themed sets, perfect for all your holiday cardmaking needs. Today I’ll be sharing with you a project I made with the Christmas Plushies stamp set.
The plushie style illustrations are so, so cute! I stamped all the images in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored them with up copic markers. I used my ScanNCut 2 to cut out all my images.
I used the Six Window Creative Cuts and die cut this frame out of kraft card stock. I blended the top and bottom edges with Vintage Photo distress oxide ink and generously gave the panel white acrylic paint splatter for a snowy effect.
I backed the panel with some green plaid pattern paper from my scrap bin and added a little ink blended piece with Peacock Feathers and Abandoned Carol distress oxide inks that will be for the sentiment. I used a sentiment from the Present A Plushie stamp set and heat embossed it in white. I assembled the window panel and the images with plenty of foam tape to complete the card!
Alright now what are you waiting for? Check out the full October Release in the Clearly Besotted shop. All products are available in the Clearly Besotted store and also at Simon Says Stamp at 12pm PST, just a few hours away!
Keeway, this is an adorable card! I love the six window layout and the beautiful vintage look. You use colour so well, they all seem to pull together beautifully. So pretty with the splatter and plaid background too! Thank you so much for joining us today, it’s lovely to have you back as a guest again.
Aww, this is adorable, Keeway! I love the colours you have used and such a cute design. Loving all that snow splatter! Lovely to have you back guesting with us!
