Waffle Flower November 2020 Release Blog Hop + Giveaways

Hello everyone and hope you’ve been having a wonderful week! Today I’m excited to share with you some projects featuring the newest Waffle Flower release, which is also a very special one to me because it includes a few of my very first stencil designs!

As many of you know, I love to build scenes on my cards and do a lot of ink blending, and one of the best tools to help me make scenes are with stencils. But what I really wanted out of designing this stencils is the ability to create an entire scene with just one stencil. So I was inspired to design the Mountain Scene Stencil, Grass Scene Stencil, and Sky Scene Stencil!

In my first card here, I used the Mountain Scene stencil to create this fun backdrop for my hiker here. I envisioned this stencil to coordinate with images that relate to the great outdoors or ones where you take flight.

The Grass Scene Stencil is a great tool to create the perfect basic scene. It has two varying layers of grass that you can build on each other and several cloud stencil to help you add details to the sky. In this project, I used blended the sky first and used the stencil to “lift” ink up with a damp cloth to create those soft clouds.

Last is the Sky Scene Stencil, and as you can imagine, it gives you the tools to create a cloudy sky or a night sky. I have combined it here to create a very whimsical atmosphere by using by the cloud and star sections of the stencil for this adorable scene.

I hope you all enjoy the products and inspirations shared today!
