Happy Friday! Today is release day for the Greetery’s newest collection, Nouveau Notes! If you haven’t checked it out yet, be sure to hop along yesterday’s blog post for information and lots of inspiration on the gorgeous release. Today’s project will be featuring mix of new and older products to create a set of flower basket tags!

I loved the color combination I used in yesterday’s projects so much, I continued the theme for these tags! I die cut several of floral stems using the Floral Delicacy Die and then stamped them with the Floral Delicacy Stamp Set released as part of the Nouveau Notes collection. Each bouquet consisted of 3 floral stems.

The basket was die cut using the Market Baskets Die. The wire frame and handles were die cut out of gold mirror card stock, while the basket lining was die cut out of a light blue card stock. I used some ink blending to add more depth and shading to the lining pieces before assembling the basket together. The little signs were also die cut using the Market Baskets Die and I stamped with various sentiments from the Market Basket Sentiments Stamp Set.

I wanted each tag to open up like a mini card so that I can write a message inside. To do that, I used the basket lining die on a piece of folded card stock, leaving just one side of the die just off the folded edge so it doesn’t cut through. This piece was added to the background of the assembled basket such that I can flip the basket up to write my message. In case you didn’t know, that cute pen is the Deco Pens sold in The Greetery’s shop!

After my tags are fully assembled, I added a few jewels to the bouquet for a little precious “bling” and slipped some twine in a small die cut hole in one of the floral stems. This allowed me to tie the tag onto any gift, exemplified here with an empty jar that I’m thinking I should fill up with some homemade jam! Hope you enjoy today’s little inspiration and have a beautiful weekend!
