Clearly Besotted: September Release Countdown Day 4

Have you been joining Clearly Besotted in their countdown to the September Release? I’m jumping in right at the tail end of the countdown on Day 4 to share some cute projects with their fall/winter holiday themed sets!

I know Halloween is not the most popular of holidays, especially since it is not as celebrated around the world, but it is definitely one of the holidays that I really enjoy creating with! These adorable sloths from the Tricky Treatzzz set immediately caught my attention and I knew I just had to color them all up. I stamped them up in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored them with copic markers. I then used my ScanNCut to cut out all the images for me.

I really wanted to fit as many sloths on this card, but unfortunately one didn’t quite fit and make it. But, to really give myself a large platform to work with, I die cut this with the Slim Scenescape Builder and Slim Scenescape Rainbow Add (for the center layers). The center layers were also die cut with the Slimline Grassy Hills but any grass die will work! My background was ink blended with Black Soot, Rustic Wilderness, Peeled Paint and Antique Linen distress oxide inks and generously splattered with black and white paint.

I wanted a large sentiment across the front of the box so I reached for the Happy Haloween Script Die. I die cut these words out of purple glitter card stock (from Tonic Studios). I love these type of cards cause they look great on display and perfect to have out for the holiday!

Be sure to check out the Clearly Besotted blog for more content about the September Release as well as their fantastic design team linked on their post. All products will be available in the Clearly Besotted store and at Simon Says Stamp on June 5th at 12pm PST!
