Concord & 9th: Harvest Feature Friday

Welcome back to another Concord and 9th Feature Friday! Today we’re going to take a look at the Harvest Wreath Bundle and Weather Wood Background Stamp, both perfect for some fall themed crafting!

There are already so many examples of using the Harvest Wreath Bundle with the unique turnabout features, so I wanted to take a closer look at the dies in this bundle. I really love the foliage dies here and decided to die cut and ink blend them to build out flourishes. In my first project, I die cut these outlined leaves out of white card stock and then used Honeysuckle, Buttercup, Sproud, and Parsley inks to blend color onto them.

I used the same inks on the background to give it a lighter blend in the center so that the sentiment that I planned to place there will glow. Again, I used the Harvest Wreath Dies to die cut this stitched circle and heat embossed the sentiment from the Harvest Wreath Turnabout Stamp Set in gold. I added it to the center of the card with foam tape.

I then added my ink blended leaves diagonally across the card and a few jewels around it for a little embellishment.

This next card uses the Weathered Wood Background Stamp. I started with a piece of A2 sized Stardust color card stock and then stamped the wood background with Wheat dye ink.

Similar to my first card, I die cut a bunch of leaves from the Harvest Wreath Dies and ink blended it with Honeysuckle, Buttercup, Sproud, and Parsley inks. I added them to the left half of the card and also added brown and white splatters for interest.

I finished the card with a die cut sentiment ‘thinking of you’ from the Heartfelt Blossoms Dies in the bottom right corner. Hope you enjoy’s today’s autumn inspirations and be sure to check out my Instagram for the weekly Concord & 9th $25 gift card giveaway!

  1. This card is just stunning. What I like best about it is the nontraditional colors for both the wood background and the leaves. I love how subtle the leaves are yet those colors sure pop. Thank you for sharing.
