Hi friends! The newest collection coming soon from The Greetery is called Leaf & Blade. As you can expect, it is filled with the beautiful foliage of autumn and I’m excited to share projects with you today featuring many of the products in this collection.
My first card uses the Rustic Wreath Stamp Set, Rustic Wreath Die, and Rustic Wreath Twigs Die. The star of this card really is those twigs, each individually die cut and ink blended with various distress oxide colors of the autumn. I had so much assembling this together.
I did some simple light handed ink blending on a piece of white card stock that will sit behind the Rustic Wreath and used the Rustic Wreath Stamp Set to add a sentiment to the bottom right of the wreath. Within the wreath, I tucked in a few mushrooms and fall leaves created with the BotaniCuts Toadstool Garden Die and BotaniCuts Mighty Oak Die.
I am always in awe of the end result after working with BotaniCuts as the layers and dimension it creates is absolutely incredible in person. These pictures do not even bring it enough justice!
This next card showcases the Fall Foliage Stamp Set which is a set filled with different foliage one layer images. There is a hot foil version of these if that’s something that sparks your interest! I used just the stamp set here to create a full background of foliage in autumn ombre colors, but it really felt like a sunset by time the time I finished stamping!
After filling up the background, I also gave it a generous splatter of watercolor paint to add interest. For the sentiment, I used the Blessed Blooms Stamp Set and Blessed Blooms Die. I centered it in the top half of the card.
My last project showcases the Curio: Autumn Findings Die and the Fall Foliage Stamp Set. The Curio collection was first introduced in July and the Curio: Autumn Findings Die pairs with products from that collection. However, you can definitely use it as a standalone as I did here!
I picked out one of the dies from the set and die cut it multiple times for ink blending. I already had all these inks out at the time and plus I’m just obsessed with ink blending especially for the autumn cause the colors are SO fun to work with! I ink blended each die cut leaf and also a background to go along with it. I added some paint splatter after assembling the layout.
The sentiment came from the Fall Foliage Stamp Set and was stamped in the bottom left corner. I added various sequins and jewels around the leaves just for the last bit of sparkle to finish the card.
The release will be available in the shop tomorrow Friday, September 9th at 10am EDT! For more information and inspiration of the Leaf & Blade Collection check out the Greetery blog along with the rest of the design team linked below.
